Jason Gardiner has labelled Dancing On Ice fans 'idiots', as criticism continues over his on-air spat with Tim Healy on Sunday's show.

Gardiner said Denise Welch's performance on the show 'was a little bit like watching two people play Twister,' causing husband Tim Healy to confront the judge.

Gardiner responded by claiming Healy's breath smelt, and has since been widely criticised by fans of the show on Twitter.

After fans inundated the judge and presenter Philip Schofield with abuse, a furious Gardiner told Schofield: "Sorry that the few idiots on here are giving you a hard time over my reaction to bad breath. You should see the tweets I've gotten!"

Gardiner has stuck by his comments, saying yesterday: 'Those who think I was rude to Tim Healy can shove it. He got in my face with breath that smelt of stale p*** n alcohol whilst I was talking.'

He also hit out at fans individually, telling one user on Twitter: "You look like something he'd vomit!' while telling another they were 'clueless."

Johnson Beharry fell during difficult lift

Dancing On Ice contestant Johnson Beharry is said to have taken a bad tumble on the rink this week, while rehearsing his latest routine.

The Iraq war hero was said to be attempting a difficult lift with Jodeyne Higgins, when his legs gave way and he toppled forwards.

Judy Finnigan's costly support for Chloe

The TV presenter and her husband Richard Madeley were desperate for their girl to be crowned champion of the ITV1 show so ran up a huge mobile phone bill voting for Chloe, who eventually finished third.

The show's host Phillip Schofield said: "Richard and Judy came down to the green room on a Sunday a lot. They were such massive supporters and I've been down to chat with them. Take last Sunday; Judy was sitting on the sofa and literally voting for Chloe non-stop. They've spent a fortune on voting for her."
