The winner of this year's Dancing On Ice will be...

There's less than a week to go until the 2013 champion is revealed
This week's Dancing On Ice show was probably the most stressful ever after what happened to Gareth Thomas.

I'd already told you he was having problems with the flying in rehearsals and he was plagued with sickness, but I couldn't believe what happened during the live show.

Behind the scenes producers came up with loads of different ideas to simplify his routine but he didn't want to give up.

He was sick every time they rehearsed the routine and by the time he came to skate on the live show he nearly fainted!

Poor Gareth was so ill there was no alternative but to pull him out of the show which was very stressful as he's loved by everyone, on and off the ice.

So, who's going to win? Will it be Luke Campbell and Jenna Smith, Matt Lapinskas and Brianne Delcourt or Beth Tweddle and I?

There's only one week to go and my skating partner Beth and I are giving it everything we have - we're training so hard and so busy rehearsing I haven't even had time to stop and eat my lunch. I've been eating toast on the ice.

There's four routines to rehearse this week. You've got to be confident to have a good chance of winning though, so our motto is: 'Go big or home.'

There's a lot of love between everybody so may the best couple win.

Whatever happens, if we win or we don't, all is not lost when the show finishes, I can exclusively reveal that Beth and I are going to be working on something new together...

I can't go into details quite yet, but make sure you watch this space!

Ghadie and Sylvain admit romance

Dancing On Ice stars Samia Ghadie and Sylvain Longchambon have finally admitted that they are in a relationship - but insisted that the French skater was not unfaithful.

Samia, 30, who shot to fame on Coronation Street, told OK! magazine that she had introduced Sylvain, 32, to her young daughter because she is sure that the couple have a future together.

The pair said that Sylvain ended his relationship with Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe before they got together, with Samia telling the magazine: "If Sylvain had tried anything on with me when he was with his ex, I wouldn't be with him now. I wouldn't be able to trust him."

Dancing on Ice: How the final works

Each of the three finalists has three routines to rehearse for this Sunday's Dancing on Ice final. Matt Lapinskas, Beth Tweddle and Luke Campbell are all practising their favourite performance from the series. Each will also perform a showcase routine accompanied by other professional skaters.

This week the scores from the judging panel are not counted when deciding who wins the show. The decision is purely made from the public phone vote. The voting lines will be frozen after the first two skating performances and the finalist with the fewest votes will leave the competition.

The two remaining finalists will then perform their interpretation of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's signature dance, 'Bolero'. After that the skater with the most votes will be crowned the winner. The show will also feature a performance from other contestants already voted off the series.
