Connie cries off


Sound of Music star Connie Fisher fled a party in tears after co-star Ian Gelder awarded her the "most unpopular and unprofessional" gong.

Furious Connie, 24, who got the leading role after winning TV talent show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria, told bosses they must do something about Ian's behaviour at a cast leaving do in a London club. Her understudy Aoife Mulholland has admitted to backstage bad feeling. She said recently: "There's a bit of an edge." Mirror
