Beckhams want a fly-on-wall TV series like Ozzy
PREPARE for tears, tiaras and tantrums...with The Beckhams. Britain's most famous couple are planning to turn their lives into a fly-on-the-wall TV series.
The move follows the success of The Osbournes, which followed the hilarious antics of former hell-raising rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his family.
Pregnant Victoria Beckham, 30, is behind plans for a series detailing the day-to-day lives of her and David and their children Brooklyn, five, and two-year-old Romeo.
Posh has decided to open up family life after becoming fed-up with allegations over the couple's parenting skills. However, the former Spice Girl and 29-year-old Real Madrid midfielder David will have all editorial control.
Victoria also wants to show just how in love she and David are, following allegations that he has cheated on her.
She raised the prospect of the series during her trip to Los Angeles last month, following discussion of the plan in the UK.
During her Stateside jaunt, Posh told one associate: "I want to show people around the world how good we are to our kids. And everyone will be able to see how David and I really feel about each other."
Victoria also believes the show will reveal the duo are "just an ordinary couple" despite their jet-set lifestyle.
David is known to be a huge fan of The Osbournes and TV bosses would leap at the chance to follow the every move of Britain's most high-profile couple. Last Christmas Eve, they appeared on a one-off fly-on-the-wall TV show in Britain called The Real Beckhams. But now the couple want their own series to be shown across the globe, just like The Osbournes.
To help show how "ordinary" the Beckhams are, Victoria has revealed she and England captain David are huge fans of TV series Fear Factor, which began in the US and has now spawned a British version on Sky One. Contestants have to endure a series of challenges to confront their fears in the show
Posh revealed: "David and I like to sit in bed and watch Fear Factor. I'd love to do that show myself, but could never eat bugs. That would just be too gross."
Victoria is due to return to California next week on a short break with her sons. During the Spanish league's winter break, Becks is planning a trip across the Atlantic and a major announcement about planned US football academies.
Victoria has also spoken of her new career as a clothing queen - after teaming up with trendy fashion label Rock And Republic to produce a range of jeans. She said: "For the first time I am using my brain and enjoying it."
