Can remember when Terry narrated one but can't really remember the one Helen did - probably missed it or something.

hi ive heard that helen adams from bb2 voiced one episode in brians absemce. is this correct? if so when? and was she any good? |

I think she did, actually, and was quite good at it (though there is a small possibility that I'm hallucinating). She sounded happy and bright and warm. When Brian started narrating it, it had taken him a while to 'settle in', but Helen sounded a natural. Given her background in a hair salon, that's understandable, I suppose. I'll go and do a bit of research on the matter if I can! |

Yes she did. Brian had two days off in the 6 months he narrated the show, one to attend his sister's wedding and one when he presented The Clothes Show at Birmingham NEC. She did the second one, Terry the colourist did the first. Personally, I felt she wasn't as good at it as Brian, but then she hadn't had the experience I suppose. |

I remember the 1 Helen did but didnt see it as I was traveling down to Torquay to vist my grandma and didnt get there until later. Cant remember the Terry 1 though |

I remember this. She was very good. I dont remember the Terry one either, though. I miss the Salon. |
