EXCLUSIVE: SIR ALAN'S BACK!
By Clare Raymond
IT'S well-known in business that sex sells... But not if your boss is Sir Alan Sugar.
"If I did business by flashing my size 34Ds, then I would not be happy with myself," he roars, as I hurriedly button up my cardigan.
"No one working for me is going to do it and that is the bottom line!"
The multi-millionaire electronics boss is furious because, he says, seven young women contestants on the new series of his reality TV show, The Apprentice, have used their feminine charms to get ahead.
Faced with their first task to sell fruit, they devised a business plan which involved wearing as little as possible and flirting with wholesalers to get free stock.
In return for the goods, they gave kisses, cheeky smiles and neck and shoulder massages to the grateful market traders. It worked a treat and they made a huge profit.
But 59-year-old Sir Alan is seething.
"I was annoyed and angry with them," snarls the crinkly-haired tycoon, going red in the face. "Using sex to sell and do business is a very short-term strategy. I'm looking for people who do business from their own acumen and intelligence."
