Love Island - Sophie joins Grace in the Circus


According to reports, Love Island's Sophie Anderton will be joing Big Brother's Grace for Sky One's new reality TV show "Cirque De Celebrite".

The production will apparently be filmed live from a genuine circus big top, with 11 celebs battling it out against each other with nail biting acts to get to the finale.

But who will be joining the pair to walk the high wire or tame the lions?

Other famous faces in the line up include the model and TV host Emma B, Kenzie, of Blazin Squad fame, former Emmerdale Actress Nicola Wheeler and the Apprentice star Syed Ahmed.

Sky Showbiz states that not only do the group have to do their stuff in front of a live audience but they will also be judged by a panel of judges including the man who formed Britain's top circus (the Circus Surreal) Philip Gandey.

Oh er! Tune in from Sunday 15th October at 7pm.

Sophie Anderton's career looks set to hit a new high thanks to her latest reality TV show. After raising more than a few eyebrows with her emotional behaviour on Celebrity Love Island, the 28-year-old model is swinging back into action with another small screen ratings winner.

The catwalk queen was photographed dangling from a trapeze as she started filming on the new series Cirque de Celebrite this week. Along with Emma B, Grace Adams-Short and a host of other stars, she has joined top British circus Cirque Surreal to learn the skills of circus performance.

Both their talent and courage will be put to the test over the next few weeks as they prepare to take to the skies before a live audience. Contestants will also be walking a high-wire in the popularity stakes, as one of them will be voted off the show by viewers each week.

Sophie, who is currently dating football boss Simon Jordan, seems to be confident there'll be no repeat of the troubles she experienced while filming Love Island, though. "It's safe to say we all went a little loopy out there," she confessed. "It brought out a side to us we didn't recognise."

SHE was the nation’s favourite villain after Big Brother 7, but now Grace Adams-Short is winning friends again thanks to her circus skills.

The pretty dancer from Plymouth is proving a real winner in Sky One’s hit Sunday night reality show, Cirque De Celebrite.

And she’s promising that she’s a reformed character from the cruel girl we all loved to hate.

“There’s no time for bitchiness on this show,” she told us. “We are all too shattered from the training!”

Grace, who performed with a giant ball last week, has been working night and day on her trapeze skills ahead of Sunday’s show and says that she is enjoying the tough schedule.

“It’s started to get really tough. I was up at six this morning and I’ve spent the day hanging by my ankles. I’ve been in agony,” she said.

“It’s totally different from Big Brother, where you’re just bored out of your mind sitting on a bean bag all day. People are seeing a different side to me on this show."

And it seems as if people are warming to Grace.

“I came out on Sunday and I got the biggest cheer. It was weird - I’m used to people booing,” she added. “People see a different side to me on this show and they’re not giving you a character by editing what happens.”

Grace thinks that her Big Brother housemates would struggle to keep up in the circus, with one exception - her own fella Mikey!

“He would be alright because he’s really strong and physical and fit,” she swooned. “The others wouldn’t cope.”

When the circus is over, Grace is looking forward to spending more time with her handsome Liverpudlian fiancé.

“Me and my family are going up to Liverpool to spend Christmas with Mikey’s family,” Grace revealed. “Our families get on well so that’s great.”

Before that, though she has to master the skills of the trapeze and high wire.

“I love it. I might run away and join the circus after it’s over,” she laughed.

“Plus, I’m a goodie not a baddie for a change.”

It's going to be a close call as to who triumphs in the big top on Sky One's Cirque De Celebrite...

There's a tightrope width of distance between the two, with 51 per cent of Sky Showbiz readers wanting Sophie to win, and 49 per cent backing Emma B to go all the way.

Thankfully, the poll showed more decisive voting elsewhere.

Readers strongly reiterated Mica Paris' recent exit from Strictly Come Dancing, with only 10 per cent of voters saying she's hotter than Emma Bunton.

In the Big Brother battle, Nikki Grahame took the majority with 60 per cent against Grace Adams-Short.

Grace won the show for the third week,

but somebody else had to pick who to send home, and Sinnita got the boot,

Sophie makes me laugh. Did yopu hear her say "I don't want to be famous like Grace." And that is after Grace saving her skinny arse last week. I am enjoying the show and It is doing wonders for Grace in PR terms. She only has to beat Emma B and Kenzie, imo, to win.
