This new game show has already been a hit in America, where it proved a big talking point. But can the same happen here? Imagine a cross between Big Brother and Deal or No Deal and you have some idea of the premise. Nine contestants are shut in a specially designed underground bunker where they are sealed off from the outside world. They have no clocks and no idea of whether it is day or night (sounds horrible) - which, presumably, will lead to increasing disorientation. The crux of the game is that the group must decide, unanimously, who is to win the £1 million cash prize. But the money starts to disappear - £1 goes for every second that they can't decide. Thus contestants have to persuade one another, as quickly as possible over eight episodes, that they are worthy winners.
