SURVIVOR BULGARIA AND BIG BROTHER REALITY SHOWS COME TO AN END

Two high-rated reality shows, Survivor BG and Big Brother will end within a few days in Bulgaria.

Survivor's winner will be named on December 10 2006. Two people will compete for the 250 000 leva award. Administrator Nely Ivanova from Bourgas will compete against fitness hall owner Ahmed Shouganov from Yakouruda.

Shouganov collapsed during the final game that granted him participation in the finals.

The third season of Big Brother Bulgaria will end a day after Survivor, on December 11 2006.

Five participants are competing for the votes of the public and an award of about 200 000 leva.

The award totalled 500 000 leva in the beginning of the show but was reduced every time someone in the house violated the rules.

Among Big Brother's finalists is a triplet whose sisters have already been dismissed from the show.

WOMEN WIN SURVIVOR AND BIG BROTHER IN BULGARIA

Two Bulgarian women became richer winning highly rated reality shows Survivor Bulgaria and Big Brother.

The winners were named almost simultaneously as the finals were scheduled for the same time, December 11 2006, 8pm.

Nelly Ivanova, 29-year old administrator from Bourgas won Survivor’s final and the award of 250 000 leva. Ivanova defeated gym owner Ahmed Shouganov, aged 26. Shouganov won 25 000 leva.

Survivor’s producers surprised tattoo fan Atanas Ganev who ranked third and gave him an award of 15 000 leva.

Liubov Stancheva aged 21 won the third season of Big Brother in Bulgaria. She took part in the show together with her triplet sisters who were dismissed earlier in the show. Stancheva won 200 000 leva.

Big Brother’s initial award was 500 000 leva but decreased every time the participants violated the rules and reached 200 000.
