Post subject:  Rupert in 'I'm fired' TV shock

ACTOR Rupert Everett walked out of TV’s Celebrity Apprentice after just one day’s filming, The Sun can reveal.

Rupert, 47, hated being treated like a reality show contestant, with cameras and microphones thrust in his face.

The My Best Friend’s Wedding star told one friend: “It is just so different from doing a feature film. I went in with good intentions but I just could not cope with the Big Brother mentality.”

He was one of ten celebs, including Alastair Campbell, Ross Kemp, Cheryl Cole and Jo Brand lined up for the Comic Relief show.

Boys’ and girls’ teams will compete in business tasks to avoid being told by Sir Alan Sugar: “You’re fired.” Rupert was replaced by former winner Tim Campbell.

BBC1 will screen it on March 15 and 16.
