Wednesday, 7 February 2007 British expatriates in New Zealand, homesick for warm pints and jaffa cakes, are being sought by the British makers of a reality television show. An estimated 500 Brits leave the United Kingdom every day in search of a better life, and each year nearly half return. In a bid to find out why, TV company Fever Media hopes to speak to some of the 215,000 Britons now living permanently in New Zealand. Most importantly, it wants to track down a few of those yearning for home to offer a "fact-finding visit" back to the UK. Stuff.co.nz |
