Aled Jones, the blue-eyed ex-chorister who brought the world Walking in the Air, is learning the drums for a new TV reality show.
The former child soprano who sang the theme from The Snowman is taking part in the reality show,
Play It Again, which airs tomorrow.
Joining him are twitcher Bill Oddie, fertility expert Lord Robert Winston and MP Diane Abbott, who will all be learning to play a musical instrument.
As part of the show, which goes out on BBC1 Wales at 8pm, Aled plays in a pub with a Led Zeppelin tribute band, Led Zep Too.
'I had to go on stage and about two minutes into the song, I couldn't feel my arms and the song was getting gradually slower,' said the star, who tonight appears at St David's Hall, Cardiff.
'By the end of it they were shouting 'Jonesy, Jonesy, Jonesy!' I threw my sticks in the crowd at the end but embarrassingly my teacher caught them.'
Play It Again also explores why celebrities want to delve into the world of music.
