Not sure but possibly my favourite blogger has an answer....

While I don't need the diet option I'd love to eat in a restaurant with a menu like that.

Brian in Kitchen hell!

The former Ardscoil Rath Iomghain student is one of a number of celebrities preparing food under the direction of award-winning chef Marco Pierre White, who began his working life as a kitchen apprentice at the Hotel St. George in Harrogate before going on to win three Michelin stars.
Twenty-nine year old Brian Dowling is a television presented who first came to public notice as the winner of the Big Brother show in 2001 and was recently voted the show's favourite participant of all time.
Unlike some of the other participants Brian's cooking talents are a little limited.
According to ITV his culinary repertoire starts and finishes with microwaveable mashed potato and ready-made oven chips.
Before the show started he said: "No-one gets just how worried I am about my tan, I like to tan, I like to look tanned. I'll be in there with the heat and I'll have to pick the right tan so it doesn't sweat off. I'm worried about that because when I sweat I panic and when I panic I sweat so it's a vicious circle. I considered getting botox under my armpits to stop me sweating but I decided not to."
Other participants include TV presenter Anneka Rice, former world boxing champion Barry McGuigan and singer Paul Young.

McGuigan cooks up storm in Hell

I'm not qualified to talk about posh restaurants. I took the wife out to my local restaurant and ordered a meal. I said: "Please make sure I have a clean glass, the one I had last week was filthy." A few minutes later the waiter returns, sets out the food and asks: "And which one of you ordered a clean glass."

Talking of posh restaurants brings me to Hell's Kitchen. It was a surprise to see Kelly Le Brock voted off - of all the chefs she most resembles a Michelin man. Barry McGuigan is even money favourite on Betfair followed closely behind by Brian Dowling at 2-1.

It's difficult to decide what the 'celebrities' who turn up for dinner on Hell's Kitchen are keener on - a free meal or TV exposure. I'm no expert on eating out but I do know that when you're getting three courses for free you really have little recourse to complain.

And that was exactly what John McCririck (left), a man who seemingly dresses in the dark, did.

Big Mac turned up at the freebie restaurant with his wife and a hamper containing salmon in case the meal wasn't up to scratch. Generally speaking, the ideal picnic location is not in a free televised restaurant.

Marco Pierre White called McCririck a man "with no style who does everything for effect".

Yes Marco!

Evans: It's show Hell

Chris Evans has blasted Hell's Kitchen as "unbelievably annoying".

The Radio 2 host is furious the ITV show focuses on the celebs and their rows - not chef Marco Pierre White's skills.

On Monday viewers saw Jim Davidson clash with gay Brian Dowling and Evans was unimpressed.

Evans, 41, moaned: "I am not interested in whether Jim Davidson is a bigot, I don't care how sensitive Brian is. I just want to be inspired by Marco.

"What's the point in hiring Picasso to teach painting if all you focus on is if the students get on."

I think Paul Young looks very sour.

That's no reason for me to dislike him (he gives a good concert) but who said there had to be any rationality when it comes to reality shows?

Barry and Brian seem to be doing well. At least the Irish are good at something.

Abbey gets the sack

Abbey seein’ ya – Abbey is sacked by the public vote.

She came, she cooked, she perfected that pastry, but tonight Abbey Clancy was given the boot from Hell’s Kitchen.

After a nail-biting sacking that saw Abbey and Adele stood nervously side-by-side alone in the restaurant, Peter Crouch’s 21-year-old model girlfriend said her goodbyes and joined Angus for some champers.

“I’ve learnt so much,” a visibly emotional Abbey said, sniffing back the tears. “I went in there not knowing how to cook anything, and now I’ll be throwing a dinner party!”

And she plans to put Marco’s fish pie on her menu!

So whilst Abbey’s journey might have ended a little sooner than she would have liked, there’s still a tasty dish waiting to comfort her at home.

“I’m looking forward to seeing my boyfriend!” she cried, having pined for Liverpool FC and England football star Peter like mad ever since she stepped foot in that kitchen.

“I’m going to miss everyone though,” Abbey added, mentioning her beloved Brian and best mate Barry above all.

With the Hell’s Kitchen final now looming ever nearer, the heat is now on as to who will be battling it out for the coveted title.

I think Brian is getting more camera time because it was him that was in the main story line, Hippo.

I would love to see Barry win even tho I like all the ones that are left in the show he has been a delight to watch work in a kitchen for the first time in his life.
