Actually I though Lee was right in some ways, or rather I thought that Jim and Marco were wrong. Lee spoke to Marco very respectfully and Marco said that he was aggressive, not from where I was sitting he wasn't and he also didn't (at least they didn't show it) tell Jim to eff off. Though I have a feeling that Lee wanted to go anyway, he probably couldn't hack it, so preferred to leave with a bit of controversy rather than be voted off.

Is Pikey derogatory? Where is pikey these days, so we can ask her?

I laughed when Marco said something along the lines of 'he had worked with people in the kitchen for 5 days before and they couldn't show the committment that the celeb chefs had shown'. Well yes, your average KP or pastry chef, doesn't have a faded TV career to try and flag nor are they trying to get media exposure.

Oh and I think Brian was right when he said that Nick was quite tasty. He's gorgeous. Wish we could have a bit more of him and a bit less of Angus on the show. @^@

YEAR BOY!
EXCLUSIVE Stars' charity pet calendar

Soap star Adele Silva has her hands full as she poses for a charity calendar.

The Emmerdale beauty cradles Yorkie Busta in one arm while keeping a tight leash on her other pet, shar pei Misty.

And she manages to look perfectly balanced... even while wearing roller skates.

Adele, 26, is one of a dozen celebrities who appear with their four-legged friends in Pet Pawtraits. Compiled by snapper Jason Fraser for vet charity PDSA, it also features film star Sean Astin and his chinchilla.

GMTV's Kate Garraway poses with her cat Scamp and ex-EastEnder Jessie Wallace shows off dogs Daisy and George.

The £4.99 calendar is available at http://www.pdsa.org.uk/petpawtraits, or call 0800 917 2509. Mirror

I must have a bigger ego then all the celebs on the show because there is no way Marco and his staff would speak to me in the manner they have become accustomed to. Marco is okay when he is in a good mood but he doesn't give a hoot for anyones feelings if he is haveing a bad day.
He also looks scruffy and medicated to the hilt...

Lee was right to pull Jim up and right agian when he would not allow Marco to speak down to him, imo.

Also, anyone else think Nick looks like Preston from CBB. ?

Why are ITV1 letting Jim Davidson get away with saying homophobic rubbish to Brian Dowling on Hell’s Kitchen about sleeping in the girls’ bedroom and being assigned to pastry work? Dowling, at the time of writing, was being patient. If Davidson was spouting racist slurs, he’d be ejected super-quick.

Stomachs turned in Hell's Kitchen
Friday, September 7, 2007

Friday's episode of Hell's Kitchen is shaping up to be as dramatic as ever with the celebs testing their limits again.

But after some culinary experimentation, Big Brother winner Brian Dowling ended up vomiting in the kitchen, thanks to some seafood.

All the celebrities had to make an oyster cocktail, removing each oyster from its shell and trimming it, before Marco judged every celebrity's offering.

As they were filming the challenge Jim asked Marco: "How would you eat one of them au naturel?"

Marco sprinkled Tabasco and lemon juice on an oyster and ate it, before saying: "Your turn Brian."

Brian told them: "I've never had one before."

Jim egged him on: "Put it on your bottom lip, pour it in boy!"

But Brian was soon bent over heaving into the bin as the celebrities laughed.

On Thursday, Lee Ryan left the show in a dramatic bust-up with Marco over his use of the word "pikey", which Lee objected to.

Later he said of the chef: "In my eyes he's got an ego and he obviously can't take someone making him look a bit stupid, which to be honest I think he's done by himself."

Marco responded by saying: "There was no offence directed at anyone personally. It was chef's banter, it's after service, we have a cigarette, we have a glass of wine, we have a little chat. You are so tired and you are still on a high."

The show is on ITV1 at 9.45pm.

I've never had an oyster cocktail, but have tasted oysters. They taste of nothing much and have the consistency of flem and the only aftertaste is similar to swallowing a mouthful of sea water. :puke:

In my experience, that doesn't usually have lumpy bits in the middle. Who have you been with? ;)
