Marco is failing to fit into Gordan Ramsey shoes and his fondness for Jim I would put down to them being alike in many ways.
We all know the tricks pulled to keep the viewer tuned in but I want it to stop!
Their manner and attitude towards their fellow celebs in the show should not be encouraged, imo. We have eneded up with too many provocative people hired to appear on reality tv shows and it is them that are given the shows a bad name.

You're spot on Madeline. Gordon Ramsay, Sharon Osborne, even Anne Robinson - all celebrated for their rudeness. No thanks.

Breaking news: Jim leaves Hell's Kitchen
Jim Davidson left the show today following a series of altercations which came to a head in a row with Brian last night.

Tonight we will see the events leading up to the comedian’s departure, which began as Kelly sipped champagne with Angus following her sacking.

Having survived the public vote for the second time, Jim returned to the kitchen, saying that he thought he’d been given a funny look by a table of diners. “Why do shirt-lifters pull that same face?” he asked Paul and Brian.

“Please don’t say shirt-lifters,” a shocked Brian replied. “It’s really rude.”

“I don’t care,” Jim insisted. “…Some gay men have the same look.”

“What look?” Brian asked. “Do I do have that look?”

“No, only when you put it on,” Jim explained. “It’s a sort of preen.”

And later on in the garden after service, the row flared up again when a horrified Brian asked Jim to explain himself further.

“Why do you have to play the homophobic card?” Jim protested. And despite Paul’s best efforts, the bust-up ballooned yet again.

“How can you say that to me?” Brian sobbed. “I am sitting right beside you. I am an equal to you Jim, in everything we have ever done.”

“Sure – that’s what GAY stands for,” Jim sneered. ‘Good As You’. I know that.

“Jim don’t say that,” Brian protested. “Jim, I am Brian – not ‘Good As You’. I am an equal to you. You are being really, really horrible to me now …Why can’t I be Brian and you be Jim?”

Brian then broke down in tears, and Adele and Abbey tried to lead him out of the room. “I won’t walk away” he protested. “I won’t be as Good As You. I will be BAY – Better Than You.”

Tune in to ITV1, tonight at 9pm for the full story.

Kell leaves Hell
“Holy mashed potatoes!” Kelly became the second celeb to be sacked from Hell’s Kitchen.

It’s been an emotional journey to say the least, but after days of torment, hours of slaving over a hot … pig’s trotter, and numerous jibes from a meticulous Marco, Kelly was released by the public vote tonight.

“It has been an extraordinary, extraordinary experience,” she sighed as she sipped champagne with Angus. “One that I will never forget.

“Marco is an incredible human being,” she added. “If you put a couple of people who have run marathons in there, they couldn’t do it. I’m a big big fan.”

So as she turns her back on the turbot tonight, who does our Kelly have tipped for the top so far?

“I think Abigail really wants to win,” she grinned. “And I think Adele is wonderful.”

There you have it people – tune in tomorrow night for the next live sacking.

You know, I kinda sympathise with Jim's point-of-view but at the same time I don't know whether he's being genuine or very Machiavellian?

Then again, did Brian need to make such an issue out of it?

I have to admit I came in as this was kicking off so maybe I missed something?

Too many questions... not enough answers :-?

I think part of the problem is not actually Jim's fault. He actually looks like a mean b*stard, which doesn't help his case at all. If someone else said the same kind of thing, but with a happy smiley face maybe it wouldn't come across as so offensive. Jim is his own worst enemy really, he should have backed off when even Paul intervened, but he is too pig headed for that. He is very old school in his thinking but that is no excuse for being a moron and not learning to adapt to the situation. But then again he made a living out of being offensive, so maybe it is too hard a habit to break.

I did think Brian played up to it a bit too much, I never saw him on BB, so have no idea if he is generally this emotional or if he was exaggerating.

Chef In Hot Water Over TV Race Slur

Hot-headed chef Marco Pierre White has been accused of racism after making a slur about travellers on ITV show Hell's Kitchen.

The Commission for Racial Equality criticised the fiery cook after he used the word "pikey" on air.

Ahh, this reminds me of the time when my son and his friend (both of whom were 14 years of age at the time) and were joking around in the school yard when my son called his friend a Pikey - his teacher, on overheaing the remark, called my son a racist and punished him with an after school detention. My son was outraged at being labelld a racist and said to his teacher 'excuse me Sir, aren't Gypsies a 'class' of people not a 'race'? - for that challenge his teacher added on 2 Saturday detentions. ::lol::
