Michael Underwood falls skating
EXCLUSIVE



Dancing on Ice star Michael Underwood was being treated for a suspected broken ankle last night after taking a tumble during training.

The GMTV presenter, 32, was rushed to hospital following the nasty fall at the ITV show's Elstree studios in Hertfordshire.

He was waiting for Xray results last night.

A source said: "Michael wasn't doing anything particularly dangerous. He was just training ahead of the weekend's shows.


"He wobbled at first and I think he thought he was going to right himself but then he hit the floor.

"It sounded painful but he put on a brave face."

ITV said last night: "He will see a specialist in the morning, then a decision will be taken about whether he can continue in the competition."

Earlier this month, former glamour model Linda Lusardi, 49, took a tumble but was able to stay on the show after suffering a hairline fracture.

Anybody know who Zaraah is ? It's the replacement's name in DOI ,but I can't think who it might be.
It's female that's all I know and they haven't shown any video yet of her. But she is skating with "Fred".

Looks like another week when the opening is recorded.
Not sure how much is live before the first break ?
Or maybe when the Judges walk on it becomes live.

Westlife are in position ready to start the recording ,just waiting for T&D.

Street star puts on her ice skates

The newest star to take the rink in ITV's Dancing on Ice has been revealed as Coronation Street's Zaraah Abrahams.

The 20-year-old is replacing GMTV's Michael Underwood after he was forced to pull out of the competition when he broke his ankle.

Best known for her role in the soap as factory girl Joanna Jackson she has been practising since November as a stand-in.
