Edwards voted off Dancing on Ice

Actor Jeremy Edwards has become the latest celebrity to be voted off ITV's Dancing on Ice.

Both Edwards, 37, and Ellery Hanley, 47, polled the least number of public votes, and were then involved in a skate-off to remain in the competition.

The five judges then unanimously chose to save former rugby player Hanley.

Last week, former EastEnders actress Gemma Bissex became the second contestant to be voted off the ice-skating reality show.

That was weird. ${
Jeremy was by far a better skater and the five judges voting him off smells of stitch-up.
DANCING on ICE- has it's very own John Sergeant in the shape of Todd Carty. He will be on the show for weeks now, poor man. ::lol::

Todd was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. Normally I don't go for the slapstick stuff but man alive he was so bad it was good. Even the guy reading out the scores was in stitches ::lol::

Jeremy was better until the skate off when he mucked up a bit then kind of gave up towards the end. He was gracious in defeat though.

I was laughing at Todd's facial expression all the way through his routine and knew what was going to happen even before poor Todd did.
I nearly wet myself ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol:: .

Todd is one of the funniest things I've seen skating.
There is a guy who does a similar routine for the skating galas but is much better. Todd though was much funnier because it wasn't an act. And then the bit at the end where he should have gone into the tunnel turned round and came back out was great. You caught a glimpse of him going down through a gap in the set but he was still enjoying it and not taking himself too seriously. He is both the worst ever and the funniest ever to take part in the show.
It obvious that despite the intense training he's had ,and having ,that he'll never get much better than he is now.

Jeremy's first performance was much better than the skate-off where he made a number of errors where as Ellery improved over the first performance but it's only based on the Skate-off performance and in this performance Ellery gave the better display with less errors.

I think Ray is already such a clear winner this year it's more about who will come second.

So was the author of this article watching the show ?

Wasn't it Ruthy who quizzed Nicky on His marking and not her who was quizzed ?

And didn't Jason say that he was afraid that Todd would leave the show in a 'Body Bag' not 'in traction' ?

I would like to see a more open approach to the results so that you can see the results from the phone vote before the two are added together and then the end result. This works fine on the German DOI. You don't need to know how many votes each one gets but it would give you a proper idea of the voting.

And I'd like to know what the directive was on Sunday regarding the way they had been advised to mark the skating.

Because Ray is so much better than the reset to could expect the majority of the others to be 1.0 to 1.5 points down per judge. But then we have Todd who's marks are about right though compared to the rest maybe even they should a bit lower.

It's a difficult one as you have two extremes. You have Ray who with the right coaching could in a very short time compete at the lower levels and then again Todd is worse than the majority you see at a public skating session especially after 3 - 4 months of intense training.

Yes exactly Larry. I thought it was incorrect reporting. Ruthie was pretty annoyed and had a good point. ''How can you mark Ray only half a point higher than Coleen?'' I'm wondering if they aren't allowed to mark higher than 5 earlier on in the series as the powers that be want a build up for the final episodes. It's fairly plane to see Ray will just keep getting 6's across the board right up until the final night. I didn't watch Strictly come dancing but was aware of the John Sergeant carry on. Todd is the new John and while I thought it wwas hilarious to watch the other night it would be a shame to see see better, hard working skaters go out instead of him as the series continues. Anyway all in all it's fun to watch on a Sunday night.
