Is Kelly Brook getting sick of living in Denise Van Outen's shadow?

For the second time, Denise is showing Kel how this presenting lark is done.

Rumour has it that Denise, 31, is packing her bags and heading to Fiji to host the next series of Celebrity Love Island.

Kelly Brook fronted the first series, which saw a host of B-list celebs stranded on a tropical island to find love.

But a constant stream of problems was reported, from Kelly ditching bikinis for demure frocks to whispers of rows with co-star Patrick Kielty.

Now old pro Denise is reported to be taking over the job... even though Kelly was a consulting producer on the show.

A source told The Sun: "Denise is waiting to hear - but in principle she is lined up to do it."

Denise has already cut back her appearances in the ITV1 drama, Where The Heart Is, in preparation.

In 1999, Kelly, then just 19, was criticised when she took Denise's place on The Big Breakfast sofa next to Johnny Vaughan. She quit after just five months.

Since then she's enjoyed acting success, with a part in forthcoming Marple drama The Moving Finger, and found love with Hollywood A-lister Billy Zane.

But presenting success still appears to be eluding her.

ITV is planning a 10-week run of the show, to go head-to-head with Channel 4's Big Brother, which starts an extended 13-week airing in May. Sky

POP beauty Liz McClarnon is still in a long-distance relationship with the crew member she met on Celebrity Love Island.

Last year, the Razz revealed that Liz had hooked up with film-runner Martyn while her fellow stars failed to find partners on the reality show.

Unfortunately, he had to stay in Fiji then moved on to Australia after Liz flew home. Six months on, though, the former Atomic Kitten singer is still very close to her holiday hunk and is optimistic about their future.

Liz, 23, said: "We're very much in touch and he's very, very good looking.

"He's English and has just got back from Australia where he's been living. We'll have to see what happens."

Liz admitted she's not a big fan of brief flings and that if she falls for someone she wants it to be for keeps. She said: "I'm a relationship girl - I've never had a one-night stand. They're not for me." Liz noted with a laugh she is the only one of the Kitten trio without an engagement ring on her finger.

However, she claims her own wedding bells are a long way off.

Instead she is happy to help former bandmates Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost plan their big days.

Natasha has been plagued by gossip that her fiancŽ and father of her elder son Joshua, Fran Cosgrave, has been unfaithful.

But Liz insists the tales about her Celebrity Love Island housemate are nonsense. She said: "Tash and Fran are made for each other. All those rumours about Fran and other women are absolute rubbish."

Liz admits she is broody from hanging out with Joshua and Natasha's younger son, Harry - but stresses she is in no rush to become a mum.

She said: "I've just got a shitzu puppy I've called Tillymint and that has given me some insight into hard work - children must be 10 times worse."

Never mind the effect on her figure. Liz looks picture perfect now but she admits keeping that way is a struggle.

She said: "My flatmate is Italian and when we're not going out she is cooking amazing pasta dishes - it's heaven. If I am trying to cut down on calories I go home only to find she'll have made a lasagne - which I'll have to have.

"I joined a gym three months ago and haven't been once. But I'd love to have a flat, toned Liberty X-style belly."

Liz releases her debut solo single on February 13, a double A-side of remakes of the Barbra Streisand classic Woman In Love and Jackie Wilson's hit The Sweetest Thing.

Her debut solo album will follow later this year.

The son of Ulster soccer legend George Best has been voted the 50th sexiest man in the world.

The model and Celebrity Love Island star beat off stiff competition from the likes of Hollywood action man Tom Cruise and EastEnders heart throb Nigel Harman in a New Woman magazine poll.

Ulster-born Radio One DJ Colin Murray scraped onto the list at 96th place. Madcap Colin was placed above television presenter Ben Shephard, singer Will Young, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and lead singer of the Artic Monkeys Alex Turner.

Other Irish talent to make it onto the list include former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan, 12 places below Calum at 62, Breakfast With Pluto star Cillian Murphy (70) and Hollywood heart throb Colin Farrell at number 34.

The local lads were named in a survey of more than 10,000 woman, which shows that men this side of the Atlantic are the flavour of the moment - 59 names in the top 100 are British compared with 30 from the US.

Calum Best is a tabloid favourite and has been romantically linked with a series of beauties, including Belfast's very own Orlaith McAllister.

However, the love-life of Colin Murray is much less high profile, while Brosnan (52) has been happily married for five years.

According to New Woman magazine editor Helen Johnston, the men have demonstrated qualities such as good looks and a successful career, which helped them get onto the list.

"However, to be ultra sexy men have got to have a fair helping of everything - good looks, a successful career, money, power, charm and bucket loads of charisma," she added.

Brad Pitt topped the poll, while Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom, the highest-ranking British actor, was third.
