The first of the audition shows for this year's Britain's Got Talent will air on April 17th. The judges have seen thousands of hopefuls over the last few months and already there are rumours of the next Susan Boyle and Paul Potts. It will also be part of another Saturday night viewing war with the BBC. Their flagship entertainment show Over the Rainbow will clash with BGT. The new ITV slot of 20.00 will fall directly in the middle of the Lloyd Webber talent search, which runs from 19.20 to 20.30. The battle for fans between The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing resulted in a resounding victory for ITV eith Cowell's show peaking at over 16 million. ITN |
