Adventurer Bear Grylls finds out whether the volunteers - filming themselves and stripped of all the luxuries of 21st-century living - can use teamwork to survive tough conditions with only some basic tools and the clothes they're wearing. In the first edition, tempers fray and doubts set in as the men seek shelter for the night, and with dehydration and hunger taking hold, they urgently need to find water and make a fire.
