I can sympathise with Bridgestone and those using their tyres.
Why should the track be changed because Michelin couldn't produce a tyre that was durable? It would even been dangerous even with a chicane.
The whole thing was a farce, but it would have been a farce to see the 14 Michelin runners race only for all to crash out over 6 laps at full race speed. Not to mention highly dangerous for all 20 cars. That's what Michelin were worried about. Alas, money talks. Hard to believe Michelin c*cked up so badly.
Yet nobody cries for the Bridgestone runners at the circuits where Michelin runners have an advantage.
Anyway, I'm glad Schuey is back in the championship, albeit amidst farce and controversy.
