Emlyn Hughes has died from a brain tumour at the age of 57
He was a great player for Liverpool, and a lovely man who had great love for football and life in general.
This is very sad news indeed

I met him in a pub once and got his autograph many moons ago. Very sad news indeed and so young too.

he was one of the reasons I started following Liverpool back in those glory days. he will be missed. in this world of overpaid primadonnas it's good to be reminded of days when football contained characters. |
