Sven is looking at playing a 4-5-1 formation against Wales on Saturday with the following team by all accounts:

........................................Robinson..........................................

Neville P.............Carragher...............Ferdinand....................Cole

........................................Beckham..........................................
Wright-Phillips......Gerrard...................Lampard..................Cole J

.........................................Rooney............................................

Not sure I agree that this is the right way to go myself. David Beckham is a winger who is more dangerous when getting crosses in so would keep him on the right with Joe Cole making way for Shaun Wright-Phillips on the left. I wish he had picked Scott Parker as he was awesome against Man Utd on Sunday and would be perfect in that defensive midfielder role but even without him I think Owen Hargreaves is a better option.

Ah well, roll on Saturday, pressure is on Sven!

It could work as a system, I said it was how Sir Alex (inglethorpe), resolved his lack of left-winger problem :D

We've got Tony Scully now, so not a problem anymore :D

I could play for England this weekend and we'd still beat the principality.

Furthermore, even David James could.

Would go along with that Pikey, can see a 2-0 win but only when Sven changes the system at half time and sticks two up front!
