Watch this thread sink without a trace ::lol::

Happy days at Oxford as the club bids farewell to Firoz Kassam after a rather heated meeting held Tuesday night.Tempers were so flared the police were called to disperse troublemakers(you'd never know they had so many fans!).
Among beefs from fans were extortionate ticket prices(£6 more than nearby Reading who will be playing premiership football next season unlike the Us who will be lucky not to be playing in the conference league on current form),and the ticket allocations.
Former Us player Nick Merry takes over as owner and Chairman of the club.He describes himself as a football fan first and business man second. He has brought back Jim Smith as manager on his first day.Jim has made 2 signings already,Jay Smith and experienced midfielder Scot Gemmill.
Lets hope this new found enthusiasm at the club means they can stave off relegation :D

Would be interesting to see if they could get away with charging the scandalous prices they do in the Conference though.

I just hope I can get my complementary tickets now Kassam has pissed off! ::lol::

Sheesh!Would seem the takeover has done no favours for the club. Now sitting one point off relegation and with an appalling recent record, the club looks conference bound :-?
Good job I'm such a tart.As of last week I became a Reading fan ::lol:: ::lol::

You still got 2 games in hand Mozzer and at least managed to pick up a point away.Oxfords recent form has been diabolical and the confidence we had a couple of weeks ago has evaporated now.

Games in hand count for nothing when you can't get anything from them. Today was a good performance but one of our games in hand is on Tuesday against Carlisle. Paul Simpson will all but guarantee promotion on his former clubs pitch in front of 3000 travelling away supporters.

Then we've a huge game against Rushden. If we lose that game then we're ******.

Two wins since November and 13 points from a possible 63 (I think)

We've kept 2 clean sheets all season, the last of which was in October.

We have a keeper who gifts opposition goals every week.

We have a defence with as much pace as a snail on morphine.

I'll be honest and say I'm confident!
