Jammy bloody Macclesfield, that would have been us had we been competant enough to beat Hartlepool and then Macc. What a load of rubbish. Hope Chelsea stick 15 past them!

Liverpool draw Arsenal in FA Cup

Quote:
Holders Liverpool have been drawn at home to 2005 winners Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup.
The 2004 Cup winners Manchester United were also handed a tough home tie against Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa.

Paul Ince's Macclesfield will travel to Chelsea, while Portsmouth face Wigan and Everton meet Blackburn Rovers in all-Premiership ties

Tamworth are at home to Norwich and Salisbury, who drew with Nottingham Forest, were drawn against Charlton.

So the royals reserves hold Man Yoos finest to a draw and force a replay that United neither need or want.....excellent!!!

And the mighty Spurs thrash Fulham.Keane returning to form with two spectacular half volleys!!!

The F.A.cup is ace...if only for tonight ::lol::

Man Yoos finest?

Man Utd team was:

Kuszczak
Brown
Vidic
Silvestre
Heinze
Ronaldo
Fletcher
Carrick
Park
Saha
Solskjaer

I make it that 8 of them wouldn't have featured in United's strongest 11 as there is no Van Der Sar, Neville, Evra, Ferdinand, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney or Larsson.

Both sides put out weakened teams but unfortunately, Reading managed to scrape a draw out of it. Not to worry.

Can't argue with Spurs though, superb today. Berbatov and Keane are miles ahead of Defoe and Mido in terms of ability yet Martin Jol can't see that and persists with Defoe.

Nice convincing win for Chelsea as well to get one of the lesser sides out. Won't be long before it's Premiership teams left like it should be.

Hopefully Manchester United and Chelsea can avoid each other and see off the lesser sides in their way to Wembly.

FA Cup Quarter Final Draw:

Middlesbrough/West Brom v Manchester United/Reading

Arsenal/Blackburn v Manchester City

Chelsea v Tottenham

Plymouth v Watford

That should mean that the final four will be Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Watford.

Nice of Man U to give ginge a goal back.

Great to see Ole Gunnar Legend back on the scoresheet as well
