BBC Retains Masters
The BBC has retained the broadcasting rights to The Masters golf tournament by securing a three-year extension to its current contract with Augusta National Golf Club.
The Masters has been broadcast by the BBC every year since 1986.
The agreement provides the BBC with live television and radio rights, plus additional online rights.
On the new deal, BBC Director of Sport, Roger Mosey, said: "This three-year deal marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the BBC and The Masters.
"We are proud of our history together, and this allows us to continue to develop the relationship – and guarantees free-to-air coverage of a truly great tournament to the UK public."
