Fahim, a board member of the Abu Dhabi United Group for Development that bought Manchester City last year, is in Rome to attend the Champions League final, where he has been discussing the deal with Portsmouth owner Alexandre Gaydamak.
"Portsmouth Football Club can confirm that it has accepted an offer from Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim to buy the club," Portsmouth said on
