Fortunately there was no harm done to Lewis during his crash, which took place in front of 10,000 fans at Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados, and he was no doubt aided by his crash helmet.
One fan told The Sun newspaper: 'When he rolled the crowd went mad. Lewis Hamilton, the man leading the F1 championship, was upside down in a Reliant Robin. How can he explain that in Monaco next weekend?'
