This is worth a read, for both sexes. It's hilarious, because so much of it is true. It's also quite serious and useful and I'm going to have to buy several copies to give to certain friends...

It's very good....well worth a read. I agree!!

Allan did a talk in the spring called 'Happy Customers'. (Part of the Tourism Masterclasses) The talk was actually looking at how to understand and relate to the opposite sex. By doing a number of workshops, it became very obvious younger adults....don't have a clue about the opposite sex. The older (married/ living with partner) ones seemed to have a better idea.

The thinking behind it was that by following some simple procedures (suggested in the book) that males and females could work more harmoniously, get their point across better, and increase productivity in the workplace.

It was a hoot.........I think he may be coming back next year. That being the case, I'd recommend going to see/ hear him. (You also get a good opportunity to enact some of the situations).

From what I remember Felicity mentioned this book and was going to take it on holiday to read? If so, have you finished it Felicity? What did you think?

And lastly, from recollection he has another book of similar sorts out now.

No Chad. John Gray wrote 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'.

Its kind of the same, but Allan's book is better IMO.

Have you read it? (MafM, WafV I mean).

Was there anything in the book new to you Cameron? Did you learn anything from it?

I'm learning loads - it's fascinating really, and can be read on more than one level. Simply, it's an amusing account of the difference between the way men and women function - on a deeper level, I think it could be useful to couples who are having relationship difficulties in that it explains certain situations in a lighthearted way that would make them easier to recognise and discuss.

It sounds like a great book to read. I love all this kind of men-women stuff. I've heard it said before, "The connections between the two sides of the brain are denser in women." (And that does NOT mean less integligent!!!)
