Adrian Mole - The Cappuccino Years, about 70 pages in and unsure if I like it or not. Dad was reading it so I took it after he finished and thought 'I may as well' (I'll read near enough anything to be honest) but a bit hmmmm!

Don't have a clue Suzanne! The ones about his teenage years were always something I intended to read when I was younger but never got round to it.

Maybe it is but the book is in paperback and I'm pretty sure dad got it from a charity shop so maybe not.

Suzanne... it dawned on me last night that I was reading about just after the elections of 1997 so checked the publishing date and right enough it was first published in 1999.

Had a wee look in a shop today and they had one about weapons of mass destruction but was pretty busy so never had a chance to pick it up. Knowing what sort of stuff that shop take in though I'm presuming it's the latest one.

Not sure which one to start first but Dan Brown's books Deception Point and Digital Fortress.

I'm reading 'Catch a falling star' by Cherly Barrymore about her life with Michael. Interesting stuff!

I've got about 5 books on the go, all started and none finished :-? but think I will continue with The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud by Ben Sherwood, which seems to be interesting so far.

If I have more than one on the go, Hc it is because none of them have grabbed my attention yet. But I generally finish all of them eventually.

Maybe half way through-ish Adrain Mole now, enjoying it more.

Also re-started (probably a month since we read it) 'Huis clos' by Sartre in French, not easy but good.

I'm reading a Rob Grant book, and thinking hes the next Douglas Adams, never recovering from his earlier triumphs :-?

Also started Elroys sequel to the sublime "American Tabloid", its one of his experimental books, 667 pages of it may be very hard work :-? :-?

Finally after waiting months for a copy of it from the library I have got a copy of Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks so I'm starting it today.
