Basically you sell your old books. There is a set price of £3.75 charged for each book no matter what it is and you get £3.00 of that. Money made by the site goes to the Woodland Trust to plant trees. I have recently joined this and have sold two books already and you can buy fairly cheaply too. Green Metropolis |

Sounds like an excellent idea. I know there used to be a bit in the front of books that started something like "This book is sold subject to the condition that it will not be re-sold, lent..." etc. Is that not printed in books any more? |

Not that I've seen but if there is there are going to be an awful lot of Amazon marketplace and Ebay customers carted off to prison. |

Only on books that come free with magazines/other products (but I've donated quite a few of these to charity - charity shops do actually sell these!) |

I've sold about 8 books on there now. I was surprised actually as I didn't think I would sell any. I rarely read a book twice so I am happy to get some money back on the ones I have bought or been given as presents. |

Hummmff remind me not to buy you a book as a present. Only joking it sounds like a great idea and if I were more organised I would do it too. |

This is a great idea. I normally put my old books into charity shops. |

I sell loads on there. I listed one yesterday and just got an Email to say I've sold it already If they don't sell after a few weeks I just give them to charity and the not so good ones I pass on too but I sell the decent stuff. Might as well get a few quid.
