BIG SPENDERS
IT'S bad enough that Big Brother takes over so much of the small screen, but now it's moving into the bookshops too.
Intellectually challenged BB3 contestant Jade Goody's autobiography is already in the shops, and in the autumn it will be fighting for attention with two memoirs from this year's series - Michael Barrymore's
Awright, for which Simon & Schuster has shelled out close to £1 million, and one by the show's winner, Chantelle Houghton, 22, whose
Living the Dream, out in September, cost Century a mere £300,000.
Meanwhile, in September, Hodder will publish Billie Piper's autobiography. Since Doctor Who's glamorous assistant and erstwhile pop star is still only 23, it will, presumably be a slender volume.
