I love that cover, I can't wait for the book. Do you know how many pages it has yet? |

759 pages. Think from the ending there is scope for more later though with a totally different set of students. What is the difference ,other than the cover ,between the standard edition and the adult editions ? |

I'm hoping that WHSmith is open tomorrow and have the Hardback versions left the supermarkets tried today only have the paperback one left. I think giving that answer would spoil it for others still reading the book. And I can't give you any clues as it'll indicate to much to who may or may not die. But chapter 36 is the one that'll answer the question. The Epilogue is what makes me think it has been left open for possibly another series sometime in the future. I really don't want to spoil it for those who are still reading. |

I know who dies anyway. My daughter has the book and I flicked to the back chapters and had a scan of them. |

I bought a copy this morning from Woolworths. And I also have an ebook version. The scanned copies that are in the newsgroups which appear to be a hardback copy have different number of total pages. The Adult hardback version I bought this morning has 609 pages. I suppose the children's version is illustrated which would increase the number of pages. |
