Chad - have you read the book,"The Shock of your Life"?

We have a young folks meeting on a Friday night. It can be very challenging!

Could you tell me what the book is about please? ()^

Hi chad

I too have the book and its a brilliant read. Another must read for christians is The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun. Not an easy read but an amazing one. I went to hear the guy preach a couple of weeks ago near where I live. He was amazing. Very humble but had an amazing message. :D

You can read reviews of the book The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun HERE and reviews of The Shock of your life HERE - I think they're the ones you mean anyway.

You know what Cam! You should ask all of us questions since you've been in the firing line for a while now! ::lol::

But just in case you would like some more questions...

What kind of car do you drive? is it that little yellow one or is that your fav car? I drive a Rover 25 and I love it. I have a 6 CD stacker in the boot which is right cool and sets me up for motorway drives big time, I have to have music on all the time in the car if I don't I get bored!

I'm sorry, I appear to have completely underestimated the extent of your win. I guess we just see the final HM's and think those are the only one's who are 'in the race' (if you can call it that). Good on you.

What did your mum and dad think about the outcome?

What did the pastor/ elders of your church say about you applying....as I presume you spoke with them first about it. (Correct me if I am wrong)?

Has there been any consequences for your family as a result?

How many attend your home group? Are they young/ older or mixed?

Ok not met as on 1to1 but went to hear him preach in Cambridge 2 weeks ago. The church was PACKED. They had to turn people away which was a shame. He had a swedish interpreter and also the other guy that was in prison with him. Cant remeber his name. How shallow of me. Anyway he really knows how to blast us british out the water! Dont know if he is still touring but if you get the chance he is a must to see. He also managed to inject quite a lot of humour into his talk which helped to lighten the message a little.

Good to see you too you maddun!

I will be sick to my stomach if he has been over here touring and I've missed him. Thanks...shall look into it now. I'd heard they are almost ready for the BTJ run. Right that's it firmly in the diary to check things out. Would be quite something to hear him talk.

let me know how you get on. I'm guessing he is finished in this country by now as it was two weeks ago tomorrow that I saw him.
