I am a big fan of the porsche as well although I quite like the boxster.I can see the reason for the 911 though as it obviously has a bit more in the horsepower dept.All pipe dreams for me I'm afraid I'll have to stick to my Focus ST170 lol :roll:

Not unfortunate at all Suzanne!The mini gets a brilliant write-up whether it's the standard cooper or the sport version. ()^

I thought when they first came out they were over-priced but having seen one up close they really are a high spec and of course the BMW badge alone means they're a top quality drive

Have reviewed the Cooper S Works Edition and Focus RS - both were loads of fun... I have a Scenic this week with the brand new 1.5 dCi 100 horse engine. No bad at all, but not for me at this stage... ::lol::

Cameron has a job on Top Gear now ?

I drive an old Metro, it gets me from A to B, it's not capable of doing 0-60 in anything less than a minute but it is economical on fuel and qualifies for the lower road tax rate. Even if I had the cash, I would not want some flashy motor that can do 150 on the motorway. it's just not 'me'.

Looked at the Focus RS but there was a huge waiting list due to the limited amount they manufactured.Also the price tag put me off a bit lol!Decided on the ST170 as it's still a 2.0 litre with 170 bhp and a 0-60 of 7.5 seconds which is only 1 second behind the RS.Also the ST is a 6-speed which the RS didn't have.

The ST170 looks the part and goes well right enough. I must admit I'm not the World's biggest fan of 6-speed boxes all the same.

Prefer the Espace to the Scenic.

::lol:: ::lol:: @ Suzanne.
I'm forever getting ribbed about being a car nut-esp as I'm not supposed to know anything about them being a girl(that could be pushing it a bit since I'm 33 lol!)

Have you had a bad experience with the 6-speed gearboxes then Cameron?
I must admit mine is the first car I've had with one and I really couldn't complain-in fact I really like it! ()^

Nice to find a 'like-minded' girly then Suzanne ()^

Just out of interest, did you consider the Beetle before you bought your Cooper?I only ask as in my experience people who like the mini seem to also like the Beetle.
