GENUINE questions for Cameron:

(a) Is it true that Orkney is barren, desolate and windy?

This is my husband's idea of Orkney (though he would like to go there).
I commented that at least two of those words could also apply to me.

(b) You say that devotees should book the Panto now. How can this be done?- I have checked the HM Theatre Website today and it appears that one can only book stuff for the next 2 months.

I don't know if we will ever get to the Aberdeen panto - depends on St Michael O'Leary of Ryanair...

I know I'm not Cameron but can't resist answering anyway!!

a) Orkney is definitely windy and prone to horizontal rain, although when the sun shines, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world IMO

b) try phoning Aberdeen Box Office - 01224 641122 - they should be able to keep you right as to when the tickets go on sale (but am sure I read in local press that they were already)

Snow White will be worth seeing by all accounts ::lol:: ::lol::

Although I'm not Cameron I have been to Orkney in the last couple of weeks or so.

Orkney is very windy, and desolate and barren in certain areas!

Cameron, please adress Felicity's above questions first (of course you will, you're almost a gentleman like me :D )

And here's mine when you've relaxed :-

Where did you get in your mutant vehicle charity race?

It is most certainly not the case that Orkney is barren or desolate - lacking in trees maybe, but not barren. It's very green and rolling; not mountainous, although we do have the highest perpendicular cliffs in Europe. Felicity has been here numerous times and Chad was here a few weeks ago - they will testify to its beauty I'm sure. And hopefully Suzanne will after her forthcoming trip...

I thought the panto tickets were to go on sale in June, but I could be wrong. There is a theatre box office as Felicity says - the number is in her post.
