hardly. even the SNP are worried about public funding cuts. one of their biggest concerns is the so-called 'Barnett freeze' where it's being claimed that extra per capita public-spending (that most parts of England don't have anyway but probably deserve to have such as the north and deprived areas in the north-west) is gradually being whittled away. If SNP wants independence for Scotland then it should be an all-or-nothing scenario. They can't just pick and choose what they should support and then expect the rest of the UK to pay for it by offering lower tax-rates to Scottish people (because that's what they want to do). So, I'm all for an independent Scotland, but I'm more in favour of an independent England

I can't see a problem with that. Why do Northern Ireland and Wales have an assembly, and Scotland have a parliament? Total inconsistency on a humongous political level.
