...........................................................
The phenomenal success of those flipping Crazy Frog ringtones is seriously narking telly viewers.
Repeat showings of the profoundly irritating advert on ITV1 have prompted a flurry of complaints, with almost 400 people driven to distraction by the endless loop of mind-melting drivel promulgated by the crazed croaker's Axel F handset mash-up.
And don't get us started on Sweetie The Chick or Nessie The Dragon. They're nothing a good, solid mallet wouldn't sort out, next time you hear someone with one of the evil alarms on their mobile.
The Sun dons its earplugs and lets half-barmy viewers have their say on the TV irritant.
"The ad makes my blood boil, it's like brainwashing," says one bloke from Sevenoaks.
A woman from Maidstone adds: "Every time I turn on my TV that annoying tune is blaring out. It drives me crazy."
Seems like it annoys people from Kent more than others, then.
Ad bods, however, can't do a thing about the head-bursting content of the ads. And Crazy Frog peddlers Jamster reckon most people love it, too, according to the Sun.
There's only one option: kick the telly in - now!
