Four men's bodies have been found in a car submerged in water near Newport.
Police said the car was spotted at 0715 BST on Sunday by a member of the public.
Gwent Police found the red Toyota Corolla in a reen alongside the B4239 coast road at St. Brides, Duffryn.
Formal identification has yet to take place and the vehicle has been removed for forensic examination.
The coast road has been cordoned off as investigations continued.
It is believed the vehicle entered the water some time between 2030 BST on Saturday, and the time it was discovered on Sunday.
