Channel Search: Police Name Missing Dad


Police have named the missing father of a two-year-old boy whose body was found in the English Channel.
The son of Alan Watkins, 50, from London, was discovered off Littlehampton, West Sussex, at 6.50pm on Sunday.

Father's body found - two days after son discovered floating in Channel

The body of 50-year-old Alan Watkins - whose two year old son Arun's body was found in the sea on on Sunday - has been pulled out of the water by coastguards.

Mr Watkins' body was found after a lengthy search.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "The body was discovered in the sea off Littlehampton at 3.45pm, near the Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre on the seafront."
