Boy Killed In Merseyside Shooting
An 11-year-old boy has been killed after a shooting in the Croxteth area of Merseyside.
Sky News Cime Correspondent Martin Brunt said the shooting is being treated as a crime and not an accident.
"The firer of the gun is believed to be another young person," Brunt said.
Brunt added: "It has been suggested the boy has been shot in the neck or chest.
"There are suggestions the attack was possibly gang related."
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said a young boy was shot at around 7.30pm in the car park of the Fir Tree pub in Croxteth.
