Police are urging people to watch out after conmen burgled several homes in and around Malmesbury.

The four men, posing as water board inspectors, struck on Monday in Tuners Lane and Kings Wall in Malmesbury and in the villages of Crudwell and Corston.

Police have warned householders to watch out for the men who are described as white, aged between 20 and 30 and using a family sized silver car.

Anyone suspicious of cold callers should call 999 immediately.
