A teenage girl is lucky to be alive after her belly button stud ripped through her stomach in a car crash.
Jessica Collins, 19, of Cardiff South Wales, is recovering in hospital, with serious internal injures, which have been compared to a bullet wound.
The art student was in a car accident in Munich, Germany last week.
The incident caused her seatbelt to be projected into her stomach, forcing her metal navel stud almost through her spine.
Luckily surgeons were travelling in the car behind Ms Collins and called an air ambulance after discovering the extent of her injuries.
