A British mother jailed in Dubai for adultery lost custody of her two children on Tuesday.
Marnie Pearce, who has protested her innocence, has not seen her sons, Laith, seven, and four-year-old Ziad since she was jailed for 90 days last month.
Now she fears she will not see them until they are 18.
The brothers are being cared for by her Egyptian ex-husband, Ihab El Labban.
He accused the 40-year-old, originally from Berkshire, of cheating on him.
Friend Sandy Norman said: 'As she was found guilty of adultery there, it makes her an unfit mother.'
