My daughter was terrified of father xmas up until she was 4.She was told by me that part of growing up is confronting and addressing demons :D



That said....I spent the best part of last Friday afternoon with 4 5 yr olds on my lap who could not be convinced that 'The Giant' in the school play was actually the local vicar ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

from what I've seen it's Santa who should be scared as he gets mobbed by kids after the presents in his sack :-?

our local Santa came to the Brownies carol singing thing in the village hall and gives away bars of Dairy Milk. How he survives is beyond me.... ::lol::

You see 'our' kids are younger than Brownie age (5/6 on the whole) and today were actually delighted when he walked in and incredibly well behaved. It is so lovely to see their wee faces - this year probably better than ever because they just all looked so happy.

They don't seem to have Santa grottoes in shops these days.

Some kiddies at pantos get upset if the genie doesn't look like the one in the film of Aladdin. (I noticed this at the panto I went to last week, in which Spencer was the genie.)
