I feel sorry for my muslim friends because on the news all over, the media keep mentioning "Islamic Extremist Terrorists". Why can't they just used the term "Terrorist" or "Extremist" or "Al-Qaeda Terrorist" (if they must add an adjective to the term)?
Intelligent people can tell the difference between peace loving muslims, whether they be conservative in the way they practise their faith or secular, & those muslims who hold extremist views.
The IRA are/were gangsters masquerading as Irish 'freedom' fighters. The fact that a few of them attend/attended Catholic mass means nothing to intelligent people.
The problem is not all people are intelligent. That's the reason why peace loving muslims got killed and terrorised after the 9/11 in US. And part of the reason why such stigma persists is because the media insensitivity of keep using the word ISLAMIC (one American who killed a Muslim actually did admit it, while waiting for his deatch sentence!) . (Thank God, BBC has omitted the use of 'Islamic')
It's good that many intelligent people know that ONLY a few of the IRA terrorists have attended Catholic mass. But how many intelligent people really do realise that 95% of Al-Qaeda terrorits had never attended Muslim Service, and couldn't read Quran/Hadiths either? If there're many intelligent people know this, then they would instantly know that the use of word 'Islamic' is totally irrelevent. How can one be Islamic if he/she never attend Muslim Service (which is compulsary once a week!) and couldn't even read Quran/Hadiths?
