The long-term partner of Suffolk Strangler Steve Wright is visiting him in jail - after declaring he should "rot in hell".

Pam Wright branded the serial killer "a monster" and said she wanted a one-off meeting to tell him she would never see him again.

The 60-year-old even said she hoped he would kill himself in jail.

But instead Pam is hugging and kissing the depraved killer of five prostitutes on regular prison visits.

Steve Wright refused appeal bid

The man jailed for killing five prostitutes in Ipswich has been refused leave to appeal.

Steve Wright, 49, was sentenced to life in prison in February but claims he was unable to receive a fair trial and his legal team did not advise him properly.

A judge today, however, has written to Wright refusing his appeal claiming that his trial was in fact.

In December 2006, the bodies of Gemma Adams, Tania Nicol, Anneli Alderton, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls were all found during a ten-day period.

Wright was found unanimously guilty of the women's murders by a jury at Ipswich crown court after a six week trial earlier this year.

He now has two weeks to resubmit his grounds for appeal although he must do so without any legal aid and fund the move by himself.

Prostitute-killer Steve Wright will find a way to commit suicide if his appeal bid fails, his brother said today.

The 50-year-old was told he would never be freed after murdering five women who worked in the red light district of Ipswich, Suffolk.

But his brother, David (51) said the former QE2 steward would end his life if his hopes of a retrial were dashed. "He won't do life in prison. He loves his Kentucky, his Chinese takeaways and his pint of beer. If all of a sudden there's nothing, he won't last long."
