The utter irony will be that the Germans will now be playing a significant role in how history is going to be portrayed to the youth of the UK. Yes, lets re-write the books, and not blame the german nation for their warlike attitude, and instead place the entire blame on a peasent by the name of Hitler, A. That will be just one of the hundreds of re-writes that will not be processed at the EU HQ. A bunch of eurocrats sitting at a 50ft table, debating word by word what is going to be changed and what shall be 'mislaid' in the sands of time.
I now wonder just how crazy the new history books will be, especially in terms of dealing with past wars and the Great British Empire.
