A 16yr old found murdered in Prospect Park in Reading was identified earlier today as Mary Anne Leneghan ,a pupil at Prospect school.Mary annes body was found in the ealry hours of Sunday morning after her 18yr old friend mananged to raise the alarm.The 18 yr old who has yet to be named is in a stable but poorly condition.It is thought that the girls were subject to brutal and horrific attack before being dragged to nearby Prospect park from a hotel in Tilehurst Road.They were then shot and left for dead.
A 20yr old man from South London has been arrested in connection with the attack.

They've arrested one man and 3 others been released on bail.It's been on the local news a lot.I thought it was pretty insensitive to give out details of the girls name on breakfast news when many of her friends possibly had no idea and were getting ready for school.The Head of the school is a friend of mine and another of the teachers at the school lives in my village so its had quite an effect even this far out of Reading.
