A CHILD sex monster may have abused children 36,000 times in a 30-year reign of terror.
Cops who raided the home of Dean Schwartzmiller, 63, found more than 1,360 pages listing boys’ names.
A revolting sex act was detailed beside each one and the handwritten entries were grouped in categories like Boys under 12, Blond Boys, Cute Boys, and Boys who say no.
Detectives in San Jose, California, believe Schwartzmiller could be the world’s most prolific paedophile.
Lieutenant Scott Cornfield said: “If one-tenth of these numbers are accurate, we’re looking at a huge number of victims.
“We want to tell the world because we believe he’s been involved in child molestations in a number of countries.”
Detective David Gonzalez said: “I have never seen or even heard of anyone worse. He has travelled throughout the United States and other countries.”
Schwartzmiller, who has served time in Idaho for child abuse, is being held for aggravated sex assault on a child and six counts of lewd and lascivious conduct.
He also lived in Brazil until he was extradited in the 1980s.
